About the LARE Index

The LARE Index (ticker: LAREPR) is maintained and calculated by Solactive AG (the “Solactive Latin America Real Estate Index). LARE Index was developed by a group of Latin America real estate private equity professionals who wanted to bring a liquid and diversified strategy to market that would capture exposure to the growing asset class but also allow investors to receive current income and maintain liquidity.

LARE Index contains 61 components from Brazil, Mexico, Chile and Argentina. Real estate investment trusts (REITs) make up approximately half of the weights. The balance are real estate operating companies (REOCs) that engage in real estate development, services and ownership of real estate. The methodology weights liquidity, dividend yield and market capitalization and rebalances quarterly.

As of 3/31/16, the Index had a projected 9.2% dividend yield, net of local withholding taxes.

33% of Top Holdings Account for Only 54% of Total Weights

LARE Index is a multi-factor index that weights liquidity, dividend yield and market capitalization to rank the universe of Latin America real estate equities. Constituents are capped at five percent. The result is a high dispersion of weights which is atypical for many EM strategies.

LAREPR is fully diversified across the property type spectrum

LARE Index is the first and only listed strategy that tracks the full spectrum of real estate property types and activities. In addition to property type diversification, LARE Index is geographically diversified and diversified by manager.
